How about a FUN-draiser?

This art party business is just booming!  I have met some great people and helped them find their inner artist along the way.  Something new to me is doing fundraisers for groups.  I did a fundraiser last month for a local little league baseball team and they raised over $400 for their team.  I have booked two more fundraisers for the month of March.  Here is the sample painting that we will be doing for the next FUN-draiser...

(Remember, colors can be totally customizable to your decor!)

Upcoming Owl & Pumpkin Parties

Who loves Fall as much as I do?  I the cooler weather is begging for get-togethers, bonfires, hot cocoa, and smores.  I am so excited about the splART Parties coming up this fall.  The Owl Party is great for girlfriends to get together with some fall-themed food and drinks and get their creativity flowing!  This painting will work in almost any decor because of the neutral color-scheme.  And who can bypass a beautiful owl painting?

The Pumpkin splART Party is great for moms and kids to do together!  Get some of your friends together for this party and you will take home a painted pumpkin and a pumpkin painting on 16x20" canvas.  You and your little ones will cherish the experience together and will be able to enjoy the painting every fall as you set out your decor.  This painting will look great in your decor from September all the way through Thanksgiving! And, best of all, it's only $30 for mom & kid to participate!

Mermaid splART Party!

We had so much fun this weekend at Camryn's 6th Birthday party!  She wanted a mermaid theme for her party, and I came up with this adorable mermaid collage for the girls to make.  We painted the background, added bubbles by stamping circled into the paint, and added glitter :-).  After cake and gifts, we came back to the project and added pattern paper to the mermaid tail, added yarn for the hair, seashells for the 'swimsuit top' and glued her to the canvas.  It was a lot of work, but they turned out so great!  This is a party she will always remember!

Lauren's splART Party!

This was a fabulous weekend for splART!  Lauren had her 6th birthday party complete with gifts, balloons, ice cream, and LOTS and LOTS of energetic partygoers!  We created landscape paintings, blotter butterflies, and melted record bowls.  They will cherish their artwork and remember this one-of-a-kind party forever.  Thanks Lauren for allowing me to be part of your special day!

Jaimee's splART Party!

This one was a LOT of fun because the splARTists each chose a different project to work on.  I have to admit, I was a little bit nervous about it.  I didn't know how I was going to be able to help each person with a different project.  Truth be told, it worked out BETTER than if everyone was doing the same project!  People were excited about what they were doing and they were excited to see what everyone else was doing!  It was a lot of prep work on my part to make sure I had all of the stencils cut and the samples prepared ahead of time, but it was worth it!  Here are some pics from the party...

Angie's splART Party!

We had a FANTASTIC time at Angie's house Saturday night!  She combined her splART Party with Origami Owl.  So, we had sweets, drinks, treats, jewelry, and splART!  It was so much fun!  She has this great lime green kitchen with vaulted ceilings, so she decided the wildflowers painting would work best with her decor and even had the perfect spot to hang it.  Here are a few snapshots from her party:

M's splART Party

This was my first experience making an appearance at an Art Party and let me tell you...it was a blast!  M has been faithfully attending my summer art camps for the past 4 years and requested a mini-art camp at her b-day party.  We made garden paintings on canvas with acrylics and tissue paper and melted records in the oven and turned them into bowls!  There was paint, glue, glitter, and marvelous works of art by these 4th grade ladies.  Here are a few snapshots from the day...

The girls were fascinated with the melted records!

You can clearly see the 'splish, splash & sparkle' here :-)

Everyone wanted to be 1st to melt their record

I cannot take credit for the decor...but wasn't it just fabulous?!

Adorable palette cupcake platter made by M's amazing mom!
