M's splART Party

This was my first experience making an appearance at an Art Party and let me tell was a blast!  M has been faithfully attending my summer art camps for the past 4 years and requested a mini-art camp at her b-day party.  We made garden paintings on canvas with acrylics and tissue paper and melted records in the oven and turned them into bowls!  There was paint, glue, glitter, and marvelous works of art by these 4th grade ladies.  Here are a few snapshots from the day...

The girls were fascinated with the melted records!

You can clearly see the 'splish, splash & sparkle' here :-)

Everyone wanted to be 1st to melt their record

I cannot take credit for the decor...but wasn't it just fabulous?!

Adorable palette cupcake platter made by M's amazing mom!

Working hard on our masterpieces!!
